Terms of service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Pulled. To participate in challenges, you must hold a valid PayPal account and reside in a jurisdiction where skill-based cash rewards are permitted.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. One account per person. Operating multiple accounts is grounds for immediate termination. Account sharing is prohibited. You may not transfer or sell your account.

The 14-day free trial is available once per Apple ID or Google account. During the trial you have access to the full check-in flow, Pull Map, Feed, Discover, and up to 10 badges. You may view challenges but cannot enroll in any cash challenge during the trial period.

At the end of 14 days, a paywall requires selection of a paid plan to continue. Your data is preserved for 30 days. If you subscribe within that period, you retain full access. Accounts dormant for more than 30 days are permanently deleted.

Founding pricing is only available during the founding period to first-time subscribers.

Pulled offers four paid tiers: Ritual, Explorer, Devoted, and Origin. Paid subscriptions are billed through Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) on a monthly or annual basis.

Current prices. Ritual: $4.99/month. Explorer: $14.99/month. Devoted: $54.99/month. Origin: $129.99/month. Annual billing available on select tiers. Prices are subject to change with advance notice.

Founding tiers. A limited number of Founding Devoted (500 spots) and Founding Origin (100 spots) subscriptions are available at reduced annual prices. Founding Devoted: $28.83/month billed annually ($345.99/year). Founding Origin: $67.99/month billed annually ($815.99/year). Founding prices are locked for life as long as the subscription remains continuously active. If a founding subscriber cancels and later resubscribes, the founding price is permanently lost and regular pricing applies. Pulled Coffee reserves the right to modify founding pricing with 90 days written notice to affected subscribers.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple or Google account settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain access to paid features until your billing period expires. No partial refunds are issued except at our discretion.

Upon cancellation: founding tier pricing is permanently lost, referral credits are forfeited, active challenges continue until their deadline but no new challenges may be started on a downgraded tier, and tier-specific features revert to the features of your new tier.

Refund requests for subscriptions are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. For other issues, contact hello@pulled.coffee. We handle refund requests on a case-by-case basis.

Attempting to receive a challenge payout and then request a subscription refund for the same period is considered abuse and may result in account termination.

Cash reward challenges are available to paid subscribers. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll. The app requires a one-time age confirmation before first challenge enrollment.

Challenges are skill-based activities with deterministic outcomes. There is no element of chance, randomness, lottery, or sweepstakes. You complete the defined actions, you earn the defined reward.

Each challenge has specific requirements detailed on the challenge screen and in our Challenge Rules. The Challenge Rules page is the governing document for all challenge-related policies.

Maximum reward disclosure. The maximum reward of $10,000 requires completion of Pulled 300 at Origin tier. Devoted tier reward for Pulled 300 is $5,000. See Challenge Rules for full tier-specific reward amounts.

After completing any challenge, a 60-day cooldown applies before that challenge may be started again. Pulled 300 has a 365-day cooldown.

Each Pulled account is subject to a daily pull limit. The limit applies to all check-ins combined, whether made at a coffee shop or from home. Ritual and Explorer members may pull up to 2 times per day. Devoted and Origin members may pull up to 4 times per day. The daily limit resets at midnight in the user's local timezone. Pulled may modify these limits at any time for operational, economic, or security reasons, with reasonable notice provided in-app or by email.

All reward amounts are preceded by “Earn up to” language throughout the app and marketing materials. Individual results vary based on subscription tier, check-in frequency, shop availability, and challenge completion. Rewards require full challenge completion, GPS verification, photo verification, and passing fraud review before payout.

All reward payouts are sent via PayPal in USD. You must maintain a valid PayPal account. Pulled Coffee is not responsible for PayPal fees, currency conversion charges, or processing delays.

Minimum withdrawal. $25 minimum balance required.

New account hold. 30-day hold before first payout eligibility. Rewards earned during this period are held then released after verification.

Manual approval. For the first 90 days after launch, all payouts require manual approval by the Pulled Coffee team.

Verification. All challenge completions are subject to verification including automated checks, AI-based photo analysis, and manual review. For Pulled 100 and above, a minimum of 10 check-ins are manually reviewed. Verification typically completes within 7 business days. High-value rewards ($1,000+) may take up to 14 business days.

Forfeiture. Payouts are permanently forfeited if fraud is detected at any point.

The only cash payouts in Pulled are challenge completion rewards: First 15, Explorer 30, Daily 50, Pulled 50, Pulled 100, Pulled 200, Pulled 300, and Home Brew. These are paid via PayPal in USD after verification and approval. No other feature of Pulled results in a cash payment.

Check-ins require two in-app photos taken at the time of the visit. Photo library uploads are not accepted. GPS location must be within approximately 100 meters of the shop. The app collects metadata (GPS, timestamp, device ID, accelerometer data) to verify authenticity.

If connectivity is unavailable, check-ins are queued locally and sync when the connection is restored. The photo capture timestamp is used for streak and challenge purposes.

By completing a check-in, you represent and confirm that you purchased a qualifying drink at the claimed shop during that visit. False attestation constitutes fraud and may result in account termination and forfeiture of all rewards.

We take fraud seriously. The following result in warnings, restrictions, or permanent bans:

• Operating multiple accounts
• Submitting photos not taken at the claimed location
• Using screenshots, downloaded images, or manipulated photos
• GPS spoofing or location manipulation
• Collusion with other users
• Creating or checking in at fictitious locations
• Any attempt to earn rewards through illegitimate means

Consequences. First offense: warning. Second offense: account restricted, challenges paused. Third offense or confirmed fraud: permanent ban, all payouts forfeited.

We reserve the right to conduct post-payout audits and pursue recovery of fraudulently obtained funds.

One account per person. Multiple accounts result in permanent suspension of all associated accounts and forfeiture of all balances.

Accounts sharing a residential address or payment method are subject to a combined annual payout cap of $20,000 per calendar year. Only one account per household may be enrolled in Pulled 300 at any given time.

All challenge completion determinations are final, subject to a 30-day appeal window. Contact hello@pulled.coffee to appeal. Pulled Coffee's decision on appeal is final.

Pulled Coffee classifies shops as Specialty, Chain, or Cafe based on publicly available data. Classification determines which challenges a check-in counts toward. We reserve the right to reclassify any shop. Users may submit reclassification requests through the app.

You retain ownership of photos you take through the app. By submitting a check-in, you grant Pulled a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your photos for operating the service (displaying in feeds, generating share cards, verifying check-ins). You may delete your check-ins at any time, which revokes this license for the deleted content.

Users may earn referral credits by sharing their unique referral code. When a referred user subscribes and maintains their subscription for 30 days, both parties receive a $10 credit. Maximum 5 referrals ($50) per user. Referral credits are not withdrawable until the recipient completes at least one challenge. Fraudulent referrals result in account termination.

The Pulled Table dinner is an invitation-only annual event for Origin members who have completed Pulled 300. Subscription to Origin does not guarantee an invitation.

Coverage includes economy class flights from within the continental United States, two nights hotel accommodation, and the dinner, for the invited member only. International travel is not covered unless stated in the invitation. No guests unless stated in the invitation. Attendees must sign a liability waiver. Pulled Coffee is not responsible for travel complications.

The Pulled Card is a physical artifact mailed to Devoted and Origin members who complete Pulled 50. Shipped within 14 business days of receiving your shipping address. No cash value. Not transferable.

The Pulled Crest is a premium physical artifact mailed to Origin members who complete Pulled 100. Shipped within 14 business days. No cash value. Not transferable.

Reward earnings may be taxable income. Pulled does not withhold taxes. You are responsible for your tax obligations.

US taxpayers. If your cumulative payouts reach $500 in a calendar year, you will be required to complete a W-9 form before further withdrawals. At year end, US taxpayers who received $600 or more will receive a 1099-NEC form.

Non-US users. Tax obligations vary by country. You are responsible for declaring reward income to your local tax authority.

Tax identification information is retained for a minimum of 7 years.

The Pulled name, logo, design system, and app content are the property of Pulled Coffee. The share card feature is licensed for personal social sharing only.

Pulled is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, specific reward availability, or accuracy of third-party shop data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim, or $500, whichever is greater.

We are not responsible for PayPal processing issues, App Store or Play Store billing issues, GPS inaccuracies, shop closures not yet reflected in our database, or any indirect or consequential damages.

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting hello@pulled.coffee. Personal data is removed within 30 days. Tax records are retained for 7 years. Active challenges are forfeited. Verified pending payouts will be processed before deletion. Cancel subscriptions through Apple or Google before deleting to avoid continued billing.

Initiating a chargeback results in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of pending balance. Contact hello@pulled.coffee if a chargeback was filed in error.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination for fraud, access ceases immediately, challenges are forfeited, and payouts are withheld. Verified non-fraudulent pending payouts are still processed for terminations unrelated to fraud.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules.

Class action waiver. You and Pulled Coffee agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis. Neither party may bring claims as part of a class action or representative proceeding.

We may modify pricing, challenge rules, and payout amounts with 30 days notice to active subscribers. Founding tier subscribers receive 90 days written notice before any changes to their locked pricing. Changes do not apply retroactively to challenges in progress.
