Minneapolis coffee runs from the North Loop warehouses south through Lyndale and east to Longfellow. Spyhouse holds the warehouse district at 907 Washington, the fourth Spyhouse cafe and the most refined of the lineup.
Makakilo is the Leeward Oahu town that holds the Ko Olina resort grid, where Aulani sits on Aliinui Drive and the morning runs on a resort schedule. The cafe geography is concentrated.

Kilauea is the North Shore Kauai town that holds the lighthouse, the Kong Lung shopping cluster, and a small but serious coffee scene. Kilauea Market and Cafe sits on Ala Namahana Parkway, a few minutes from the lighthouse approach and the Kong Lung complex.
Kealakekua is the Kona coffee belt town between Captain Cook and Kailua-Kona, the part of Mamalahoa Highway that runs through the heart of the farms. The coffee here is the Kona article.

Kawaihae sits on the dry leeward coast of the Big Island, the Kohala Coast stretch where the resorts cluster along Waikoloa Beach Drive. The coffee here serves the resort grid and the Queens' Marketplace shopping cluster.
Kapaa is the East Side Kauai town where the morning traffic slows just enough for a coffee stop. The coastal stretch from Coconut Marketplace north to Donkey Beach holds most of the area's cafes.

Kailua is the windward Oahu town that built its name on Lanikai and the Kailua beach grid. The morning rhythm here is beach traffic by 8am and a coffee stop on the way back.

Ithaca coffee is largely the story of Gimme!. The roaster opened on North Cayuga Street in 2000 as a small Ithaca espresso bar, and grew into the small batch roastery that Roast Magazine named Roaster of the Year in 2013.

Honolulu coffee runs across two registers at the same time. The Kaimuki bench, where neighborhood regulars settle in for a Saudi cardamom pour or a matcha that the owner whisks at the bar.
Istanbul holds two coffee traditions on the same street. Turkish coffee in cezve over hot sand, served thick with the grounds settled at the bottom.

Haleiwa is the North Shore town that built its rhythm around surf checks at Pipeline and the slow stretch of Kamehameha Highway between Waimea Bay and Sunset Beach. Cafe Haleiwa has held the same corner since 1982 under Duncan Campbell, the same Duncan who shaped the surf culture this town runs on.
Grand Rapids coffee is largely the story of Madcap. The roaster opened in downtown Grand Rapids in 2008 and grew into one of the more respected programs in the Midwest specialty scene.

Los Angeles has one of the most diverse specialty coffee markets in the world. Silver Lake, Echo Park, Venice, and Downtown LA each have distinct coffee cultures.
Denver's coffee map runs from Capitol Hill north into RiNo, west to the Santa Fe Drive arts corridor, and south to Pearl Street. SelvaSur on Broadway pours Peruvian-origin coffee out of a roastery the owners run themselves.
Dallas coffee runs from Henderson Avenue west into Deep Ellum. Houndstooth on Henderson runs the Dallas side of the Houndstooth program, pulling espresso from Tweed, their sister roaster, and dialing the bar for the morning crowd that walks the Henderson row.
